Love and relationships - the basic essentials!

Image
I don't know if there is anything more meaningful and beautiful than this little four letter word - LOVE! Ironically, not everyone finds out it's real meaning! and neither can anyone claim to do so! Well, before we get down to the romantic version of it, let's not forget that love comes in all forms!!! First and foremost, mother nature! She being destructive enough to extinct us, she chooses to let us live! I think that, is Love! from different species to different human connections and relations, where there is a thought - to understand and care for the other - that very thought I think is love!! I feel love is sweet and selfless version of strength because it takes strength to think beyond yourself, isn't it?! I really want to end this one sweet so I wish to put across some lows of love first! So here we go!! (I don't know why lows of love instantly made of hear Arijit Singh's voice - I don't like dard!!) The complex part here is, unless and until y

Unlocked mysteries of my purpose of existence!

A very warm welcome to my beloved readers! Here I am again, travelling through some memory lanes and taking you along with me on this journey where I met my purpose, the answer to a question, a really very very important question - "what to do with my life?" Right after I started Des Rangeela, be it  in my interviews for newspaper articles and  live interviews or even some friends, customers and well wishers had this one sure question  -  very frequently asked - how did you find out that this is what you want to do? why Indian handicrafts and handloom? why nothing else? I remember drafting down a set of self answering questions for my friend Zeel, because she wanted to find out her purpose of living too!  Because finding what you love to do and doing it is a beautiful journey! For a matter of fact, I have evolved as a spiritual person and a believer. I strongly feel, "Everything is written" and we are nothing but the children of nature, the elements of

This girl loves to write, loves life! back to blog! Well, first of all I owe a warm hug to my writing world after a long time! With my love for writing being intact it was procrastination that kept me away for years now! Over these years of self exploration, there are two important things that I took up. The long due MBA and the bigger blessing I received. The birth of my heart child - Des Rangeela. My business to be professional and my dream to be honest! Why not get back from where I left, travel diaries for Des Rangeela work! I am currently working on a project which has its production units at West Bengal's village - Sarta where my artisans live. For a capacity report of my Madur grass handwoven products I personally needed to be there. After a good discussion with Akhil dada (my artisan from Sarta) we planned a one day return, because that's all I could afford :D (trip date: 18th April 2019). The picture speaks for itself! MBA was more th

As a part of my research in Indian Handicrafts and with an intention to meet artisans and designers and to understand their range of products and creativity, I had to be in Delhi, as it is one place where I could visit various Handicraft and Handloom exhibitions,Emporiums and Craft Museum. So with a detailed plan I fixed my itinerary for 4 days in Delhi, with no waste of time to afford. As the departure date came closer I could only recollect how in 2013 I had got selected for a course at Tata Institute of Social Science but left it because of the odd timings as the unfortunate Nirbhaya Gang rape case was fresh in my mind and Mumbai was a stranger city for me. This time in 2017, I gathered the courage to step out and try to kill the guilt of being scared years back. I planned to go solo to Delhi, get my work done and come out stronger. Where man wants to fly, these sparrows are enjoying their breakfast ~ at Mumbai International Airport. The day had arrived, 18th Janua
