Love and relationships - the basic essentials!
I don't know if there is anything more meaningful and beautiful than this little four letter word - LOVE! Ironically, not everyone finds out it's real meaning! and neither can anyone claim to do so! Well, before we get down to the romantic version of it, let's not forget that love comes in all forms!!! First and foremost, mother nature! She being destructive enough to extinct us, she chooses to let us live! I think that, is Love! from different species to different human connections and relations, where there is a thought - to understand and care for the other - that very thought I think is love!! I feel love is sweet and selfless version of strength because it takes strength to think beyond yourself, isn't it?! I really want to end this one sweet so I wish to put across some lows of love first! So here we go!!
(I don't know why lows of love instantly made of hear Arijit Singh's voice - I don't like dard!!)
The complex part here is, unless and until you love yourself, you won't be able to find it and give it!!! Especially in relationships! If you love the other by putting yourself down, you end up left hurt, the hurt that then bleeds on others!! I think one of the most beautiful feelings ever felt are mutual! Where all you have is love to give and all you receive is the same! AND this my dear friends, happens to the rare or happens for a short while.
I have no idea how people use dating apps!! I don't know how people get convinced by arranged marriages! both these things scare me equally! I first find it unsafe, second I think there are too many people involved but the couple are strangers!!!! I myself have heard beautiful stories of both in real, I am not against it but just it's probably not my comforting perspective! And love marriage? Oh boy!! the space between love & marriage, these two words is a journey!!! of two people liking each other, exploring each other, arguing with each other, disappointing each other, making each other feel special, feel terrible and so much more! The journey reaches it's new stage when two people are sure of their happiness with each other and hold on to each other irrespective of the societal norms!
I sometimes thank God for I am a 90s kid!! I can't imagine myself being in the older times where people didn't see each other's faces, got married early, kept having babies for atleast 15-20 years and were so controlled by this society! I am grateful to have been born in a self exploration era, surrounded by slightly broader minds! We might terribly fail, but hey! we tried to live a life full of discovering it through our heart! Unfortunately we deal with heartbreaks and separations in our time. Then we deal with social image stress that comes along with it. But I found the trick to it!!! And I hope this will reach someone dealing with emotional breakdowns. Society's judgments about you are a lot about what you allow them to know and see!! The same people who can point out at you are the same people who clap for you! How is that? Well, simple! You show them you are weak and depressed, they believe it. You stay strong and they call you strong. While going through a socially breakable emotional damage, deal with it in on your own and put across only your milestones, achievements, confidence, hard work, healing and consistency! They respect you!! Our very own country has these words of wise men!
Chanakya said - Don't share your problems with people, they will ridicule you. That is true. Very true! and the positive aspect to that is - learn to deal with your emotions and problems on your own and share only the solutions! It will inspire and help others to stay strong and live a optimistic life with your dignity being at your highest!
To a lot of confusions in relationships and otherwise! My idol Hon. Mr. Ratan Tata gave us all the best mantra - "Take your decisions and make them right!" This has probably simplified life at it's best for me atleast! If I ever meet him (I pray I do) I want to thank him for these words of wisdom and guts! It's actually so simple na? Your life is the result of what you decide and hold on to, consistently, unshakably, rigidly till the end!
Over a period of years, I've been experiencing and knowing a lot of real broken people who had to deal with real painful times and broken hearts because of other people's failure of loyalty, faithfulness and low moralities. But isn't it also amazing to see that there are people who get hurt by these things and are real and have a great value structure? Yes! That's what makes love pure! Truth makes love pure!!

Just love how true this is! Lucky are the ones who have one! |
For us to give and receive this love, we must purely believe in the magic of holding hands and making unsaid but eternally felt promises! We must purely believe in fairy tales where a man and woman love each other equally, celebrate togetherness, celebrate the silence in mind when they are together, celebrate being the strongest cheer leaders of each other, celebrate the vibes and humor that brings out the best individuality of the two, celebrate being lovers, celebrate the understanding and giving of warmth and care, celebrate the laughter, accept, respect and work on the differences, celebrate the romance and celebrate being growing a family!
And if I had to share my way of loving, well, I used to write thought of the day on my school black board, along with the time table and attendance stats. I always loved writing these 2 thoughts -
"Honesty is the best Policy!" & "Where there is a will, there is a way!"
Truth can help us love! And that's what I mean by basic essentials!! I am always going to be that little girl who wrote those thoughts on board, and believed in those words! I know together is a beautiful place to be, that's where we find love, that's where we find God, that's where we get the happiness we seek inside and around us! Together is a journey from I to we - sometimes spices and sometimes honey!
P.S: I try to post my real life pics on my blogs, I don't have pictures of my real life to put up here confidently !
